Service Area

GTA and southern Ontario, remote-first

ArborAI has no storefront and no street address to publish. That is not an oversight. It is a service-area business built to work where trades and restaurant operations actually happen: on the phone, on a screen-share, and on-site when the work genuinely calls for it.

Where we work

The core service area is the Greater Toronto Area: Toronto itself, plus East York, North York, Etobicoke and Scarborough, and the surrounding municipalities of Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham and Pickering. That is where most engagements start and where a same-day or next-day on-site visit is realistic without much planning.

Beyond the core, we take on work across Durham, Halton, Peel and York Regions, into Hamilton and the Niagara Peninsula, and elsewhere in southern Ontario by arrangement. One of the two engagements described on this site, an HVAC contractor, is based outside the immediate GTA. The distance did not change how the project ran: most of the build and nearly all of the support happened remotely, with on-site time booked around specific milestones rather than a standing weekly visit.

If your business is further out and you are not sure whether a project like this makes sense given the distance, ask. The honest answer is sometimes "yes, but expect fewer on-site visits and more scheduled video calls," and we will say so plainly rather than quote a travel-inflated price and let you find out later.

What "remote-first" actually means

Most of the work on both engagements behind this site never needed anyone in the room. Requirements gathering happened over email and calls; for the HVAC contractor, the scheduling and dispatch requirements were drawn directly from the owner's own written brief describing thirteen concrete pain points, no site visit required to capture them. Building the software, the QuickBooks Desktop integration, the scheduling and dispatch logic, and the automated test suite behind it all happened on a laptop, not in a truck.

Training and support are the same. A screen-share works fine for showing office staff how to review and price a batch of technician-submitted work orders before they become invoices, or for walking a dispatcher through a new scheduling board. Most support tickets after launch get handled the same way: a call, a screen-share, a fix pushed the same day.

What genuinely needs someone on-site

A short, honest list, drawn from what actually happened on real engagements rather than a generic services menu:

  • Watching a technician actually use a new mobile work-order flow, phone in hand, on a real job, is the only reliable way to catch the field version of a problem that never shows up in a office demo. That happened directly on the fire-safety inspection engagement, where the old process was a carbon-copy work-order book filled out by hand in the field.
  • The first week an office team reviews and prices technician-submitted work before it becomes an invoice is worth sitting through in person once, because that is where the gap between "the software works" and "the team trusts the software" actually closes.
  • A legacy paper or document archive that has to be physically sorted, boxed or handed off is on-site by definition. One engagement behind this site involved migrating a legacy archive of roughly 42,000 files; the migration logic was written remotely, but the source material had to be collected in person.
  • Anything that needs eyes on a physical piece of equipment, a vehicle, or a specific site layout before software decisions get made around it.

Everything else, and that is most of a typical engagement by hours, runs remotely. We would rather tell you that up front than pad a quote with travel time that never gets billed anyway.

Why there is no address on this page

Some technology vendors serving this market list an office address, some list a partial one, and a few list none at all while still ranking for local searches purely on the strength of naming their service area plainly and being specific about travel. ArborAI takes the third approach: no street address is published anywhere on this site, because none exists to publish honestly. What you get instead is a clear statement of where the work happens and what on-site actually involves, which is the information a real buyer needs before booking a call.

That also means this page will not pretend a suburb-by-suburb list of landing pages adds anything. A dozen near-identical city pages, each swapping one place name for another, is a pattern you will find on other software sites serving this region. It does not reflect how the work actually gets scoped or delivered, so it is not here. One page, the real list of municipalities, and the honest travel policy.
